AA Euro is seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join a thriving Civil Engineering contractor in the Birmingham region. Reporting to the Contracts Manager or Project Director, this position offers a fantastic chance to be part of a growing, successful business in the UK, with strong potential for career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead one or more project teams, ensuring contracts are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with company policies and current health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the project surveyor to manage contract costs, variations, and provide regular cost status updates to the Contracts Manager or Project Director.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Evaluate subcontractors' work quality and their ability to meet project timelines and deliverables.
• Identify and mitigate project risks effectively.
• Coordinate with design teams to ensure design deadlines and specifications are met.
• Foster positive working relationships with management, clients, and subcontractors.
• Plan and schedule project activities to ensure efficient delivery.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Construction or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years experience in the industry, with at least 2 years in a Project Manager role.
• Background in working with a recognised main contractor.
• Strong commitment to health, safety, quality, and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Outstanding organisational and time management abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office and scheduling tools such as MS Project (or similar).
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale industrial or civil engineering projects, including experience with reinforced concrete (RC) works, earthworks, and underground services.
• Capable of managing projects valued between GBP3m and GBP25m, from design to completion, and handling multiple projects simultaneously if required.
