Snr Flow Operations Management (Stock & Systems)

Salary: to GBP94,000 + Benefits + WFH capability

In line with highly ambitious growth plans coupled with a GBPmulti-million investment in infrastructure and operations, an accomplished Warehouse & Distribution professional with proven tactical leadership experience is sought with experience of leading and shaping high volume, fully automated flow control operations.

Forming part of the senior team, you will be highly influential within this major new DC launch with significant influence plus onward development.


The Role

  • Responsible for managing teams to ensure efficient and smooth product flow through the automated system within the distribution centre with a focus on optimising efficiency, productivity and engaging a high performing flow control team from inbound to dispatch.
  • Make timely business critical decisions, providing senior management with updates on operational performance plus management of varied demand to ensure efficient flow throughout the warehouse.
  • Create detailed plans to accomplish goals and direct integration of system upgrades along with budget management.
  • Ensure optimum Inventory Control including stock availability, maintenance of inventory levels and maximum fulfilment of orders plus accurate stock control, stock investigations and stock loss prevention.
  • Contribute to improving operational efficiency for the warehouse layout, plus identification, development, and coordination of CI projects.
  • Drive a high-performance culture plus the training and development of employees within their area of responsibility, plus ongoing development.


The Person

  • Proven career history within high volume, automated warehousing & distribution environment with a strong involvement, understanding, and importantly track record of Stock & Systems with Flow Control at the heart of the operation.
  • Ability to solve complex problems plus experience of major projects or capex investments and automated systems of particular interest.
  • Strong management, planning and co-ordination skills.
