We are currently recruiting for a Software Development Operations Manager for a expanding software business.

Your main role will include:

• Leading the recruitment of Software Engineers
• Leading on training and onboarding
• Building a collaborative culture across the team
• Making improvements to software development processes, tools and methodologies
• Resource planning across software project based on current demands and future projects
• Leadership of a team
• Performance management including motivation, reporting and ensuring quality control across the team

The ideal candidate will be an experienced manager / leader across software engineering along with a good technical background as well as an understanding of software engineering principles, best practices, and emerging technologies.

A technical background in some of the following is also highly desirable: C++, C#, Linux Operating Systems and Postgres Databases.

You will also have the ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic based environment.

This role will be mainly home based with the expectation of 1 day per week in the Northamptonshire office.

The package on offer includes a GBP60,000 - GBP70,000 base salary plus GBP5000 car allowance per year, excellent pension and bonus.
