QED Structures is expanding its team and looking for a motivated and enthusiastic structural engineer. Experience with steel frame structures is preferred but not essential, provided the candidate has a good rounded experience with building structure design. 

The role we are currently looking to fill is one which is very diverse and will contain technical as well as managerial / design coordination elements. To summarise the role, the following responsibilities would be expected:

• Technical reviews of the work completed by the design team;
• Management of deliverables completed by the design team;
• Structural analysis and design to Eurocodes;
• Liaising with clients to address technical queries;
• Draughting using AutoCAD and potentially using Tekla;
• Providing high level design options and solutions with assistance from senior members of the design team.
