The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of health and social care in England. Our purpose is to make sure health and social care services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate and high-quality care.
Striving for excellence, we have an ambitious vision to take a more targeted, responsive and collaborative approach to regulation so more people get high-quality care. As a catalyst for improvement, we are seeking to appoint a Programme Director on an interim basis to lead the development of a technical solution that will underpin our core regulatory practices in the future. Reporting to the Director of Transformation the Programme Director will set the strategy and lead and direct a multi-disciplinary team to deliver the programme objectives and outcomes.
An inspirational strategic leader, you have the integrity, resilience and resourcefulness to make change happen, no matter how challenging. Whilst you do not need to have detailed experience of health and social care, you will have previous experience of implementing ERP solutions in similar organisations working as part of large-scale transformation programmes. As our new Programme Director, you will build and motivate exceptional teams and work collaboratively with Leaders and colleagues to deliver the organisation’s core purpose. Underpinning all of the above, we expect you to be committed to CQC’s values of Excellence, Caring, Integrity and Teamwork.
