Project Manager

We are looking for Program Managers to join the JKR team. This is a new role in the agency and one that we believe is now key to the agencies progress in delivering a wide variety of projects to a growing client base. This role will sit within each Account team, working across a number of clients from world famous global brands like M&M's, Heinz and Budweiser to new entrepreneurial brands such as Ugly, Hippeas and The Gut Stuff. The purpose of the role is as follows.

Externally:To develop client trust and advocacy through effective program management across all briefs, while preserving the creative intent, in line with the brand.

Internally: Champions and demonstrates collaboration between internal teams and external partners, to get to the best creative solutions, while delivering program management excellence.

Reports to: Group Account Director

Responsibilities

Creative Delivery

Inspires client confidence through effectively delivered programs of activity, that harness the brand essence and creative intent, across a variety of a mediums

Analyses client challenges and briefs, asking the right questions, to get to the best outcomes

Effectively manages multiple project timelines across multiple clients in a client group, ensuring all deadlines are met and tangibles delivered

Partners the Creative team, to ensure creative intent is preserved across mediums

Is a key part of the Client Service team, proactively sharing information with the team to enable them to effectively manage client expectations

Communication

Collaborates closely with Creative Services team to determine most suitable internal and external expertise required for the Client opportunity

Clearly articulates the design intent to external partners, in order to take the creative idea to fruition, while preserving the intent

Effectively and proactively manages internal and external communications across diverse teams, levels and priorities

Constantly pushes for outstanding collaboration, internally and externally, to get to great creative output

Builds strong relationships with partners, experts and collaborators, in order to develop advocacy and attract the best talent

Adapts communication style to audience and situation, whilst always delivering a consistent message

Listens actively and openly

Creativity

Actively seeks the right partners and experts for projects, based on in depth knowledge of capabilities, efficiency, costing and desired outcomes

Works with teams to understand internal capabilities and experience, in order to capitalise on internal and external expertise, for the benefit of the creative output

Proactively offers creative ideas and solutions to client challenges, considering different ways to approach the brief

Constantly pushes partners and external providers to push technical and creative boundaries to deliver on the creative vision

Actively seeks out latest technology, thinking and trends, sharing knowledge internally to help realise creative ideas, and define new ones

Commercial Awareness

Uses knowledge of how the business charges and resources projects to drive efficiency and profitability of projects, while ensuring the highest level of creative output

Key point person within the Client Service team to ensure accurate and timely budget management

Negotiates effectively with external partners, using a deep market understanding of capabilities and costs.

Uses awareness of time and resource requirements required for projects to advise others on the Client Services team, enabling effective client negotiations

Recognises, raises and resolves individual project issues and overall program issues as they arise, bringing in other teams as required

Brand Centricity

Usesbrand and business understanding, together with technical knowledge and insight into client needs, to partner internal teams to deliver the best creative solutions

Anticipates client needs and expectations, striving to deliver the best solutions, and exceed expectations wherever possible, ultimately translating into future opportunities

Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to client needs

Leadership

Motivates, supports and inspires the JKR internal teams effectively and responsibly to manage situations to positive outcomes

Manage conflict, leaning into issues as they arise

 

REQUIREMENTS

Must have experience of managing design

3+ years of Program Management experience in a leading agency

Outstanding project management experience and attention to detail

A passion for design and the experience to deliver across pack, print, experiential and digital

Great communication skills, with the ability to lead a variety of teams
