Senior Project Manager - New Build Schools

About the Role:

Hill McGlynn is delighted to be partnering with a prestigious Tier 1 Main Contractor to recruit for an exceptional Senior Project Manager. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual who has a proven track record as the number 1 on-site Project Manager, specifically with expertise in constructing new build schools and liaising with the Department for Education (DfE).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of new build school projects from inception through to completion.

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Liaise effectively with the Department for Education (DfE) and other key stakeholders.

• Oversee site operations, ensuring all health and safety regulations are adhered to.

• Manage project teams, including subcontractors and suppliers.

• Conduct regular progress meetings and report on project status to senior management.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience as a number 1 on-site Project Manager within the construction industry.

• Proven experience in managing new build school projects.

• Strong knowledge and experience of liaising with the DfE.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.

• A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in construction management or a related field.
