Our client, a prominent company in the civil engineering sector, is seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee earthworks on a Highways project in Norwich with an immediate start date.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the overall execution of the project, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards
- Overseeing site activities and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Coordinating with the Highway authorities and key stakeholders to facilitate project progress
- Monitoring project budgets and controlling costs effectively
- Providing regular updates and reports on project status to senior management
- Implementing project management methodologies to optimise project outcomes
- Facilitating the resolution of technical issues and challenges on-site
- Ensuring the quality of workmanship and adherence to project specifications
Job Requirements:
- Experience in managing civil engineering projects, particularly earthworks
- Proficiency as a Site Agent/Project Manager
- Knowledge of highway construction projects and relevant standards
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or a related field
- CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid
