James Lewis is currently assisting a key client in their search for a Mechanical Project Manager to join an M&E Contractor in the city who have been well established for over 22 years.

As a Top 30, privately owned Mechanical & Electrical Building Services contractor they provide services across Design & Build, full M&E services, HVAC, IT infrastructures, CCTV, security, access control and fire alarms. The company has been founded upon sound practises, quality installations and working closely with their clients on a range of projects which include, commercial, education, custodial, residential, healthcare and leisure ranging in value up to GBP14m.

The project has an M&E value of GBP3.5m and consists of the refurb of a highly prestigious private members club in Mayfair. The project has a start date of January 2025 and a build program to run for roughly 40 weeks. Due to the high-end nature of this project, our client will need to see a previous track record of experience on either luxury fit-out or super-prime residential projects with similarly high-end finishes.

To be considered you will need to:

• Demonstrate the ability to take a project through to handover
• Be used to handling the programming, managing the finances and variation accounts
• Management of all elements of H&S
• Be client facing and as such comfortable with client liaison/being the main point of contact
• Ensuring handover with final accounts and ensure that all O&Ms are completed.

This is a freelance position with a minimum term of 40 weeks, but due to ongoing work-winning on a range of other projects, there is an opportunity with possible longer-term prospects.
