THE COMPANY
Brand Energy & Infrastructure Services (BEIS) provide scaffolding services and access equipment, coating and painting, cleaning, insulation and fireproofing services to the global industrial and energy sectors.
JOB PURPOSE:
As Operations Manager, your role will be the contract focal point, ensuring safe and efficient delivery on all UK Onshore Industrial & Energy contracts.
SAFETY LEADERSHIP BEHAVIOURS:
- Regularly explain HSE expectations and verify understanding and compliance.
- Consistently recognise good HSE behaviours and performance and tackle poor / potential HSE performance issues.
- Test and verify that HSE Policies and practices are properly implemented and are working in practice.
- Actively encourage and support ideas to improve HSE performance on all Brand operations / projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure full integration of the BEIS team into the awarded contract(s) ensuring the appropriate resource levels to efficiently deliver on scope and meet agreed targets.
- Responsibility to ensure effective preparation, planning, delivery and reporting of work scope.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports to track Safety, Quality, Commercial & Operational performance and present to the management meetings for BEIS.
- Responsibility for on-going performance management of the teams, addressing unacceptable or inadequate performance, implementing disciplinary measures as appropriate in line with BEIS policy and procedures.
- Monitor competency levels of the workforce and action where necessary to develop or enhance skills set.
- Accountable for the contract commercial performance and ensuring commercial compliance in conjunction with Project Controls. Liaise closely with commercial teams to ensure accurate cost management controls.
- Maintain key interfaces with internal and external stakeholders and develop effective working relationships.
- Review of current practices and consider innovative solutions to assist in the development of improve working practices to achieve greater operational efficiencies.
- Through agile working, lead the teams and ensure team deliverables are met fully with respect to time, quality and cost.
- Lead by example and be familiar with the contents of and verify compliance of both Company and Contract procedures.
- Liaison with the Sales function to manage pipeline work and expectations.

- Achievement of key targets for revenue, margin, stock and debtors.
- Strong Client & Partner relations.
- Maximising the provision of BEIS products and services to the Clients.
- Effective management and leadership of the Operations team.
- Ensure compliance with Company procedures and internal control measures.
- Effective member of the Divisional Senior Leadership team.

- Client / Contract Leadership Teams.
- BEIS Leadership Team.
- BEIS Staff and Management.
- Vendor & Supplier Teams.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
- Proven track record as an Operations Manager (or similar) within the scaffolding/access sector.
- Industrial services knowledge.
- Proven experience of managing high-performance teams.
- NEBOSH (preferred).
