Junior Project Manager
As a Project Manager, you ll oversee a range of complex projects, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure successful project delivery by managing risks, budgets, and resources effectively. You ll need to be flexible and eager to adapt to our company s ways of working, while also taking a proactive approach to managing projects and building collaborative relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead both internal and external teams to deliver projects that meet agreed Time, Cost, and Quality standards.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders and suppliers, ensuring effective and successful project delivery.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Control project budgets and resource allocation.
- Use a variety of project management techniques to drive change at pace and adapt to our company s project management style.
- Collaborate with impacted business areas to ensure safe and smooth implementation of change.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, track dependencies, and control scope.
- Foster strong relationships with team members, stakeholders, and third-party suppliers.
- Drive benefits management and ensure value realization.
- Deliver clear, concise reports suitable for senior stakeholders.
- Be hands-on and actively engage with teams and individuals to ensure smooth project execution.
- Deputize for senior project managers when required.
- Travel between sites and occasionally to third-party locations for project needs.
What We re Looking For:
- Proven experience leading and delivering projects of various sizes and complexities, with a background in the financial services
- Experience managing internal and external teams, as well as third-party suppliers.
- A hands-on, adaptable approach to managing projects and working with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to influence and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Expertise in project management methodologies such as Agile, Lean, and Waterfall.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost forecasting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of building relationships at all levels.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Formal project management qualifications.
- Graduate degree in Business or a related field.
