Our Sales Operations department is looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and highly organised Project Manager to join their team. The Deposit Return Scheme is an increasingly popular solution to the challenge of recycling, where a surcharge is placed on a product when purchased and a rebate when it is returned. This is a new role at Lidl and the successful candidate will be leading the way for our Deposit Return Scheme. What will you do? Formulate and implement the Lidl strategy for the Deposit Return Scheme Support in the assurance of a proactive cross-departmental flow of information and exchange of knowledge between national departments, the Regional Distribution Centres and Head Office Build and maintain strong working relationships with the necessary Government groups and external stakeholders Presenting project proposals and outcomes to Senior Management national and international Developing project concepts and proposing solutions Creating presentations, project and training documentation Budget management and controlling project costs Communicate updates and actions across the business Conduct regular reviews of existing deposit return scheme practices National and international travel may be required What will you need? An excellent communicator, effective negotiator and confident presenter (able to present and propose projects/ideas to Board level employees) Proven project management experience Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint Analytically minded and able to interpret and follow-up with complex data sets Ability to work independently and to tight deadlines Attention to detail and ability to problem solve effectively Knowledge of the recycling industry is desirable but not essential Knowledge and experience in retail operational processes (ideally at an RDC and store level) Preferable experience of major asset/infrastructure roll out in a store environment Good understanding of retail supply chains German language is desirable but not essential What do we offer?
