Overview of Maritime Sector

We deliver an essential and competitive edge where it counts across the Maritime sector

We live in an age of increasing change and uncertainty. An age where threats are escalating, the strategic and political context is complex and dynamic, where fundamentals are shifting and technology is playing an even more important part in our lives. An age of great challenges and opportunities. But one thing never changes – the imperative to protect what matters most. National security, economic prosperity, critical infrastructure, sensitive data; our lives, our loved ones, our values and our futures.

At BAE Systems, we aim to provide an essential advantage to help our customers and partners stay ahead as these challenges and opportunities change. We bring innovation and ingenuity to give our customers a strategic advantage where it counts.

In the Maritime Sector, this takes many forms – from an innovation that keeps people safe at sea, to services and support solutions which maintain military capability, to high-end complex defence assets and to facilities and platforms which provide a home away from home for service personnel for months at a time.

We learn from our experiences and adopt a continuous improvement culture, to sharpen our performance and to provide an essential and enhanced competitive advantage for our customers. We take a global view and remain agile to evolving dynamics and customer requirements.

We offer an intelligent edge, a military edge, a commercial edge, a competitive edge, a critical edge - an essential edge to ensure future relevance and the ability to operate alongside allies and partners - an essential edge to protect what matters most.
