Debbie Bird
Online Community ManagerI am the Online Community Manager and have worked for APM for nearly 6 years.
My first impression of APM was that when I first joined it was such a warm and friendly place to work. There was a lot of engagement with each other, walking groups, the Giving Something Back community, in person Town Halls, quizzes and a friendly and professional place to work.
I had only worked for APM for 3 months when the Covid lockdown happened, and the office completely changed as we all had to adjust to working remotely. There were many efforts and initiatives made to keep us all connected with each other.
My favourite thing about working for APM is the kindness of the people and the flexibility. We are all trusted to do our job remotely and I think this builds a trust between the company and the employee that is not easily found elsewhere.
I have been supported personally through life changing events. APM is flexible and supportive, understanding that to give the best support to your employees will bring the best from them. Loyalty and commitment to our colleagues does not go unnoticed and is truly values by me, APM is a great place to work.
If I could describe APM's culture in less than 5 words they would be:
- Flexible
- Unique
- Friendly
- Professional
- Skilled
