Gina Wookey
Business Development Manager - Membership – Business DevelopmentI have worked at APM for over six months and my role here is as a Business Development Manager. My role is to identify new corporate partners and affiliates from across the retail, public and energy sector.
Everyone is extremely welcoming and friendly. I felt part for the family straightaway! It's clear that APM look after their employees well, which shone through my induction process, and since passing my probation.
Although I am fully supported, I also feel like I have a certain level of autonomy too, which makes you feel trusted and respected to be able to get on with your role and and do it well.
I have really enjoyed my time at APM. Already I have learnt so much and acquired a deeper understanding of the project world. I have also had the opportunity to attend and support some of the bigger APM events, such as Women in Project Management, which was really inspiring. I have just been invited to take my Project Fundamentals Qualification (which is offered to all staff when they have passed probation), which I am really excited to do.
